Steve Arnold Meteorites
The World's Most Famous Meteorite Hunter
Steve Arnold Meteorites

Since his world record meteorite find of the 1,430 pound Brenham, Kansas Pallasite Main Mass, in Octover 2005, Steve Arnold has been featured in more newspaper articles, more magazine stories, more radio interviews, more live TV news broadcasts and featured in more TV shows than any other meteorite hunter on the planet.

Steve jokes that he was a "13 year over-night success" when his amazing find propelled him into the spotlight a few short years ago.   Until then, most of his work since 1992 was done behind the scenes: buying, selling, trading, brokering, hunting for and finding these amazing visitors from deep space.

Many of Steve's finds are now in the world's finest public and private meteorite collections, including museums such as the Smithsonian, Natural History Museum (London), American Museum of Natural History (New York), Field Museum (Chicago), and many more.

Juggling media appearances with continued hunting and selling of meteorites keeps Steve very busy.

Collect from the Source!

When you purchase a meteorite specimen from a dealer that is also a field hunter like Steve, you help that person get back out into the field to make more new discoveries.

Since virtually no meteorite field recovery work is done by institutional or government employees (with the exception of work in Antarctica) the recovery of these amazing visitors from deep space is left to entrepreneurial individuals.  The well balanced symbiotic relationship between the commercial side and the research side of the meteorite business helps all of society.   Private individuals like Steve find new meteorites, and a portion of each new fall/find is donated to science.  This gives researchers material to study and classify each new meteorite, and in exchange, there is an official classification and official name assigned by an unbiased 3rd party.

Some of the meteorites for sale here have been found by Steve directly, and others have been traded for or purchased to provide a selection for you to choose from.   All meteorites sold are unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic and as represented.  Once you receive your order, you have a week to examine it, and if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item for a full refund.

Each meteorite comes with an official I.D. card / Certificate of Authenticity signed by Steve Arnold.  The provenance of having meteorites that were purchased from the "World's Most Famous Meteorite Hunter" helps you rest assured that you have made a wise acquisition (not to mention it helps others appreciate that what you have really is what you are claiming it to be!)

So, whether you are a brand new collector, looking to buy your first $5 meteorite specimen, or you are a seasoned collector, or you are a museum curator, your patronage is greatly appreciated by Steve, and your support plays a role in any of his future success.

Congratulations on making it to my site.

Success in any endeavor requires a combined effort from a team of people. I would covet the opportunity to join your team and to help you build a meteorite collection that you will be proud of.  Collectors in any field, desire to acquire items that will "Wow" those they show their collection to.  I want to help you get the most "Wow for your buck" in building your collection.

In exchange for helping you build your collection, proceeds from your purchases will help me get back out in the field (as well as back in front of the camera) to recover more meteorites first and foremost for science, and secondarily for museums and private collections all over the world.

Without collectors like you on my team, I could not do what I do.  Thank you for your support and I look forward to working with you to build the collection of your dreams!
